Yes, the rumor is true, Mr. Nelson is leaving Smallville for his dream job as Principal of Rosedale. While we are sad to see him go, we are extremely happy for him and wish him the best.

Know that CSMS will not change. We have always been the school that focuses on teaching the whole child. Our Green Tech Academy is a unique learning opportunity and I feel confident saying that we have the best teachers that know what they are doing and have a deep love for Middle Schoolers. Nelson brought a lot of heart and fun and we will continue on as we have been with or without him. We just need to find a principal who will fit right in and continue to let us do our thing. Honestly that was one of Nelson's strengths, letting us be us! So, while we are sad to lose our friend, we know he needs to follow his heart and we will continue to thrive and be the same solid, fun, and comforting place for kids to experience Middle School. Don't worry parents, we got this!
